A little over a year ago, I was approached by a couple of people from the UK who wanted to create a children’s TV series about the world’s greatest heroes.
The concept seemed pretty straightforward: a group of young superheroes were living in a fictional world with a fictional villain, and the heroes needed to save the world.
I agreed to be a producer.
As it turned out, I ended up writing the pilot.
But there was a problem.
There was no writer to take on the job.
It was a bit of a surprise when I received an email from one of the producers.
It said, “I’ve written the pilot, but I’ve only just realised how much I’d like to do a full series.”
I was pretty nervous at the time, but then I realised how good it would be to take this opportunity to write something about the heroes.
I asked, “What is it about the kids that would excite you?”
They said, “…it would be really cool to do something with them in the show”.
They said, you can write about the characters, they’re very talented, they have this kind of magic and they have incredible skills.
I had a really good idea, so I just had to go ahead and write it.
It wasn’t a particularly difficult process, and I’ve written a number of shows about children.
I was able to pick some of the characters up from a childhood that I think is very different to the kids who are the heroes of the show.
But in order to do this, you need to know a little bit about the industry.
And you also need to be prepared for a long time.
It’s a long process, it’s a lot of work.
But I was fortunate to be able to find a lot people who could give me the support and help me write.
I think I had this kind the support of a good friend who had been a producer on shows for 20 years.
We had a good time.
But then, there was this email that came in, and it was from a producer from a rival network.
He said, I’m really excited to work with you on the show, but we want to be very clear that the kids in this show are only fictional.
The show is not a childrens TV show, it is not about children at all.
We are really proud to work on this series, and we want it to be something that kids and adults alike will be able enjoy.
I know that some people might be sceptical of this show, because they might be concerned that it’s going to be too light-hearted, but that’s just not the case.
We wanted to be really clear that this is not kidss TV, it doesn’t feature a single character, and if you don’t want to see a kid in the world, you don`t have to watch this show.
It`s really about a group with extraordinary powers who are fighting for a good cause.
It really made me realise just how much of a risk I was taking.
I’d never written a kids series before, and this was my first time working on one.
It felt really good to get a lot out of it.
I’m glad I went for it.
I was a little nervous about the prospect of writing the show with so many other kids.
I thought I would be a bit on the outside looking in.
But it’s all good.
The whole process of writing was really rewarding.
It’s a really exciting and fulfilling experience.
What I learned from writing it I realised that kids need a lot more of this kind that we don’t have in this world.
They need to understand that they have a responsibility to the world and that they can be heroes, but also that they need to also have a little patience and compassion.
